Dr. Jack Daniels

World renowned distance authority/coach

Wow!  These are sessions that you do not want to miss!  Dr. Daniels is possibly the most knowledgeable authority in physiology of distance training!  His sessions will give you the basics of what you need to do with your distance runners to get them on the road to success.

 

Jan Johnson

Olympic Bronze medalist – past world record holder

Jan is possibly the world’s best authority on vaulting technique and safety.  He has been actively involved in competing or coaching vaulters for decades.  These are definitely “no-miss” sessions for vault coaches or head coaches in charge of vaulting.

 

Tom Petranoff

Past world Record-holder

Tom is “Mr. Javelin” – graduated from Howe Military Academy.  He is a previous world record holder in the javelin and has many training tips to help throwers in all events.

 

Dr. Greg Dale

Duke University - Psychologist

Dr. Dale is a college professor, a lecturer, an active sport psychologist working with all levels of athletes.  He has many insights into what makes an athlete “click” and what you need to do as a coach to set the right environment.

 

Mark Guthrie

Head Coach – University of Wisconsin Lacrosse

Coach Guthrie has an unbelievable record in coaching track & field.  At Lacrosse, he has achieved 20 NCAA III men’s team championships in indoor and outdoor track.  His most recent best athlete is Andrew Rock, gold medalist in 2004 Olympic Games – 4 x 400.  He wants to share much that will help the high school and junior high program!!!!!

 

 

Jack Warner

Head coach – Purdue University

Coach Warner is in his second year at Purdue as the head coach of cross country and track & field.  He has had a quality coaching career and has now found his position at Purdue to be a challenge, but is quickly bringing in the coaches and athletes to put Purdue in the national headlines.  His background in the jumps is quite extraordinary and will bring much information in training and technique to our state coaches.

 

Ross Richardson

Throws coach – Purdue University

Ross was hired by Coach Warner to assist the Purdue program in building it’s stature to national prominence.  Ross has had a multitude of successful athletes in the throws at each school he has been.  He has the ability to communicate the information and help athletes get the most out of their ability and training regimen. 

 

Jeff Martin - Terre Haute South

Jeff does great presentations filled with information that the junior high and high school coach can utilize.  Jeff was an Indiana state champion, a national caliber hurdler @ ISU and is on his way to a very successful coaching career.

 

Scott Hufford- Portage/Fegely Middle School

Scott’s success in leading a quality feeder program is well-respected in that area and we all know how the high school program has succeeded.  Scott is now an assistant principal and athletic director.  He will share his insights from a coach and administrator perspective in how to build a quality program for many student-athletes to participate and have a rewarding experience.

 

Ralph Reiff,  M. Ed, LAT, ATC

Ralph is currently the Director of St. Vincent Sports Medicine and Sports Performance in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He is tops in his field in knowledge and practice. 

 

Darrell Barnes, LAT, ATC, CSCS

Darrell is Ralph Reiff’s assistant @ St. Vincent Sports Medicine.  Darrell works with many athletes regarding core work, athlete injury prevention and care.  Quality presentations for the coach that wishes to keep his athletes healthy and ready for competition.
