IATCCC Hall of Fame

Selection Procedure

There will be three categories: 1) Male Athlete, 2) Female Athlete, 3) Coach, Contributor, Official.

The number of inductees each year will be left to the discretion of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

Coaches Category: a) A coach must have been a coach of track and field or cross country for a minimum of 10 years. b) A coach may be active or retired when considered for selection. c) All nominations will be screened by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. d) A coach of a National Team will receive an automatic nomination.

Contributor Category: A contributor may be placed on the ballot by the Hall of Fame Committee.

Male Category: a) Nominations may be made by IATCCC members or the Hall of Fame Committee. b) Thirty percent of those on the ballot will be inducted.

Female Category: a) Nominations may be made by IATCCC members or the Hall of Fame Committee. b) Thirty percent of those on the ballot will be inducted.

Automatic Nominations for the Ballot: a) Olympic or World Championship Athlete b) NCAA Champion c) State record holder in an individual event d) Athletes who are two time state champions in an individual event.

General: Nominations may be made by any individual and then screened by the IATCCC Hall of Fame Committee. Each year the committee will review the candidates and determine the number to go on the ballot.
