All nominees must be members of the IATCCC by the start of the respective tournament.

IATCCC Coach of the Year Criteria – passed September 11, 2005

AAA – schools 860 and up in enrollment

AA – schools 420-860 in enrollment

A – schools 420 and below in enrollment

School size re-evaluated each year – with one third of all the schools in each class

Cross Country Coach of the Year Nominees

The coaches from the top 2 AAA, AA, and A teams in each semi-state.

Voting will be at the CC Clinic in November for a Coach of the Year in each class.

Track Coach of the Year Nominees

The coach of the top AAA, AA, and A team from each regional.

Voting will be at the Track Clinic in Jan/Feb for a Coach of the Year in each class.

Nominees and winners will be honored at the general meeting during the track clinic.

Update to the criteria passed on September 10, 2006

Nominees should also include any coach who places in the top 5 at state who was not nominated according to the above criteria.

At large nominations will be considered in addition to the automatic nominations described above
