How to Qualify for the Hoosier State
Relays
2010 Qualifying Standards
How athletes qualify:
- Athletes may
qualify from any qualifying meet
For
a meet to be a qualifier for the HSR, the meet has to use DA for
entry and results and must be listed on the qualifying meets page of
this site
- These
meets have to be run, during the IHSAA season, March 1 through
March 14.
-
Example of meets included are:
-
Conference Indoor Meets
-
Dual Indoor Meets
-
High School sponsored indoor meets
-
Nike Indoor (Maryland)
-
National Scholastic Indoor (New York)
- Running
events must be F.A.T. (No hand held times permitted)
High Jump and Pole Vault qualifying heights should be measured.
- Results of
any meet from March 1 to March 14
must be sent by meet officials in HyTek format to
jalano@hse.k12.in.us
and to
www.directathletics.com
- Only
athletes that meet the qualifying standards
and are listed on the directathletics.com website will be
allowed to enter.
There will not be a top twelve list, only those who meet the
standard may enter.
- Athletes may be
entered/declared on Direct Athletics after March 10.
PLEASE DO
NOT declare athletes until you have their final qualifying
performance. Updating performances after athletes have been
declared is very difficult.
-
See Entry Info Page for entry and
payment deadlines
-
Schools may enter more than 2
athletes in individual events. All athletes must meet
qualifying standards. Schools are limited to 1 team per
relay.
