Trine University is slated to host a series of indoor meets again this season.  Our facility is in its third year and has produced some spectacular performances to date.  Registration for all of our meets will take place through DirectAthletics again this year (if you need help setting up an account or just a refresher getting in to your account, the folks with Direct Athletics are great to work with).

Pendleton Heights Boys track team is looking to add a meet anytime from

April 3- 7. We can either host or travel.  We would like to set up a long term duel or tri meet.  I have until January 17 to add to our schedule.  Please contact Ryan Potter – rpotter@smadison.k12.in.us

The Cathedral Girls Track team is looking to add meets this spring.  Looking for dual or three-way meets on April 3 or 4, and the week of April 16 to 19.  We do not have a track, so we prefer to travel.  Contact Coach Mark Doctor - mdoctor@gocathedral.com, or AD Terry Fox - tlfox@gocathedral.com.

The Jeffersonville Track and Field teams will be hosting the second annual Red Devil Inferno Classic track meet on April 6 and 7, 2012.  This will again be a two-day event with teams from Indiana and surrounding states. Last year, in the inaugural meet, we had 15 boys’ teams and 10 girls. This meet should be even bigger and better this season!  Details will be forthcoming. Contacts:

The Jay County High School men’s & women’s track & field teams are looking to add meets for the 2012 season.  We would like to add either an invitational or quad meet on Saturday, April 7th or Saturday, April 14th.  

We would also like to add a dual meet on Monday, April 30th or 

Tuesday, May 1.  We would be open either to meets for our men’s or women’s teams only or a combined meet (both men and women). We are willing to host the meets or travel.

Lafayette Jefferson High School would like to schedule a varsity and jv girls meet the week of April 9-13. Please contact Larry Griggs at lgriggs@lsc.k12.in.us if interested.  We would be happy to host the meet but will travel. 

Saturday April 14th -Hobart High School is looking for teams to fill out the “Hobart Little 5”. The “Little 5” has been run for over 70 years. The meet is coed for the first time ever this year. We will run in tournament format with trials and finals.

Pike High School is looking for 2 to 3 additional boys and girls teams to participate in the PIKE Invitational on Friday, May 4, 2012. This meet features great track and field programs such as, Lawrence North, Zionsville, South Bend Adams, Gary Lew Wallace, Michigan City, Fort Wayne Northrop and PIKE.

2012 Cross Country

The 2012 Carmel Classic Distance Medley will be Saturday, August 18th at Northview Church, site of the Carmel Semi-State.  Varsity Boys and Girls races will have the unique Distance Medley concept.  All Varsity runners will begin together but one-third will finish at the 3 K mark, one-third at the 4 K mark and the final one-third at the usual 5 K mark.  Teams will be allowed up to 4 runners in each race and your top two finishers in EACH race will be scored.  Reserve Boys and Girls races along with the Freshman Boys race will be 4K with unlimited entries along with being timed and scored.

The 2012 Asics-Marion HS Cross Country Invitational is looking to add additional teams for next year’s meet.  We’re looking to take this meet to 50 teams total and put on a quality invitational on a fast course that currently hosts the NCC Conference, IHSAA Sectional, and IHSAA Regional meets.  Date for 2012 is September 1st.  If interested...please contact Eric Jackson (eric.jackson@indwes.edu) at Indiana Wesleyan to reserve a spot in this already well-established meet.
